Eucharistic Ministers
Contact: Leslie Brady (Home: 308-8038) labrady@nc.rr.comEucharistic Ministers (EM) assist the celebrant with the distribution of the Body and Blood of Jesus at Mass. To become an EM, you must be in good standing with the Church including being Confirmed. You must attend a training session prior to being scheduled. Typically at St. Bernadette's we have EM training twice a year.
EM's for the Homebound
Contact: Al Munno (Home: 557-7718)These ministers distribute Holy Communion to the community that cannot attend Mass due to illness or not permitted to travel to church. This ministry is very important so that this community of homebound can consume of the Body of Christ although they cannot attend Mass.
